This homemade ice cream recipe is one of our absolute favorite recipes ever! In just 15 minutes (plus some freezer time, obviously) you can have the most delicious, custom flavored ice cream of your dreams. Seriously the possibilities of flavors are endless & super easy to create. We opted for some brownie pretzel ice cream because well it sounds freakin’ delicious, but rounded up some other ideas for you as well! All are very simple recipes & are super fun to make with friends & family. Or by yourself because after all, you're going to want to enjoy this treat all to yourself!

Normally when making ice cream you need raw eggs (yikes!), an ice cream machine (don't even get us started on that cleanup...) & numerous other ingredients. With this recipe however you can have as many ingredients as you'd like but only two are truly necessary: the cream & milk. Some other flavor options you may like to try with the cream & milk are: cinnamon & raisins, chocolate chips & caramel sauce, strawberries & shortbread cookies (broken into tiny pieces or crushed up), the flavor options go on & on. Give it a shot recreating one of your favorite flavors whether it be just a splash of vanilla or an extravagant Ben & Jerry's flavor. Regardless of the ingredients, one tool that will make this recipe even easier for you is an electric mixer. They will drastically increase your recipe time & will save your arm from an extraordinary workout should you just use a whisk.

Homemade Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • chocolate syrup
  • brownie
  • pretzel

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  2. Stir in the vanilla & milk until smooth.
  3. Add in the chocolate syrup, brownie crumbs, & pretzel pieces as you'd like. Pour into container & place in freezer for 12+ hours. Serve & enjoy!
